Shugborough Hall Milford, Stafford
ST17 0XB

From past to present Shugborough Hall has always been a popular attraction with visitors calling to admire the beautiful plasterwork of the ceilings, fine porcelain collections and the unique neo-classical monuments in the historic gardens and parkland.

Situated in a river valley in the heart of Staffordshire, Shugborough's location is decidely magical. The story of Shugborough Hall begins over 300 years ago in 1693 when the manor was demolished and built in it's place was a three-storied house, which forms centre of the house today. The transformation made a medium sized country house into a magnificent Georgian Mansion, as you can see. With its walled garden, monuments, trails and parkland Shugborough Hall is the perfect spot to host a Gamefair. Resurrecting the long-standing tradition in the area for country sports, many clubs and organisations who were involved with the old keepers fair have been used again here at the Gamefair. There are many wonderful attractions at Shugborough we hope you enjoy them and all the Gamefair has to offer.
